On September 28, 2022, representatives of Canadian International School Lao Cai included Ms. Trinh Quang Dong Thao – Branch Director, member of the Board of Directors of Khoi Nguyen Education Group (investor of Canadian International School Lao Cai ) and Dr. Richard Tapajna – Principal of the school, had a visit and worked with the Canadian Embassy in Vietnam.

Mr. Shawn Steil – Canadian Ambassador to Vietnam and Mr. Albert Lee – Education Advisor of the Canadian Embassy in Vietnam, gave the delegation a warm welcome.

At the meeting, representatives of CIS-Lao Cai shared about the school’s progress and impact on the community in Lao Cai and surrounding areas. As the only school in Vietnam recognized by the Alberta Ministry of Education, CIS-Lao Cai is proud to carry the responsibility of connecting advanced Canadian education with Vietnamese values.

The Canadian Embassy in Vietnam highly appreciates the school’s efforts in building and connecting knowledge, promising to take the time to visit and learn more about the school in the near future.
