Geography Teacher
Responsibilities
- Develop lesson plans and teach =Geography subjects to secondary school students in accordance with the school’s requirements and each grade level.
- Take on the responsibilities of a homeroom teacher, manage students, and maintain positive and effective communication with parents through email and direct conversations.
- Organize and participate in teacher training activities and personal development opportunities.
- Plan and coordinate activities and events for students throughout the school year, contributing to the development of the Vietnamese Language and Culture program within the school.
Position Requirements
- Teaching Certification: Possessing a valid teaching certification is essential.
- Subject Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Geography, including key concepts, theories, events, geographical principles, and their practical applications Familiarity with curriculum standards and guidelines specific to the educational level being taught is important.
- Teaching Experience: Prior teaching experience in Geography is preferred Experience in lesson planning, delivering effective instruction, assessing student progress, and managing a classroom environment is highly valued.
- Effective Communication: Ability to effectively communicate complex geographical information to students of varying learning abilities Using clear and concise language and employing engaging teaching methods to foster understanding and interest.
- Critical Thinking and Analytical Skills: Encouraging students to think critically and analyze geographical information. Guiding students in evaluating different perspectives, interpreting data, and drawing conclusions.
